Yes! CoeLab is completely free for teams with up to 20 members — no trial period, no credit card required.
What’s included in the subscription?
Unlimited training plans, full communication tools, athlete tracking, team event management, SafeSport-compliant guardian linking, and priority support — everything a team needs.
What happens when we have more than 20 members?
Once your team grows beyond 20 members, you can upgrade to a paid plan for $30/month, which covers up to 30 members.
How much does it cost after 30 members?
After 30 members, it’s $4 per month for each additional member beyond that.
Example:

35 members = $30 + (5 × $4) = $50/month

50 members = $30 + (20 × $4) = $110/month
Do athletes need a separate account?
Yes. Every athlete has their own secure CoeLab account, which can be connected to a parent or guardian for oversight if needed.
Can multiple coaches work together on one team?
Absolutely. CoeLab is designed for collaboration — coaches can create, review, and manage training together across the team or for individual athletes.
Do coaches count as members?
Yes — anyone with a CoeLab account under your team (athletes, coaches, staff, etc.) counts toward the total.
Are parents or guardians counted as members?
No — parents and guardians linked to an athlete’s account do not count toward your team’s member total. Guardian's are free.
Is CoeLab SafeSport compliant?
Yes. CoeLab is designed to meet SafeSport standards. Every athlete account can be linked to a parent or guardian account, allowing appropriate oversight of all communication and activities. This ensures transparency, protects athletes, and supports compliance with SafeSport and organizational policies.
Is there a contract or can we cancel anytime?
You can cancel anytime — no contracts, no hidden fees.
What happens if we accidentally go over the free 20-member limit?
You’ll be prompted to upgrade before you can add new members or access certain team features. Your existing setup won’t be interrupted immediately.
Can we upgrade and downgrade between plans?
Absolutely. You can adjust your plan based on your team size at any time from your account settings.
Is my data safe on CoeLab?
Yes. CoeLab uses modern security practices to protect your team’s data. Your information is encrypted and currently never sold.
